Chiropractic Care for Hip Pain in State College PA

Chiropractic State College PA Hip Pain

Hip problems in my State College PA chiropractic clinic are very common, probably because there are so many different types of issues and causes surrounding leading to Hip Pain. From falls and fractures to growing old, arthritis, overuse, low back misalignments and muscular problems of all kinds — hips often take more abuse than many other parts of the body.

Why Do Hip Problems Cause So Much Pain

The hips support the entire upper body, work directly with the spine, are surrounded by some of the biggest muscles and support a large amount of weight. We use our hips to walk, run, skip and jump, putting even more stress and strain on the hips as well as the connective tissue that supports them. And, unfortunately, when we fall the hips usually take the brunt of the force.

All of these factors can cause severe muscle spasms, strains and stress, put pressure on some of the biggest nerves in the entire human body, and cause major problems for the vertebrae and discs in the lower back. For those reasons and more, hip problems can cause a lot of pain and discomfort.
